Building on the success of the Championship Challenge in 2012, eircom sought to strengthen their position as dominant sponsor of the GAA football championship.

Solution

Informed by the insight that GAA fans love predicting results & competing with friends, the game “Win, Lose or Draw’ challenged players to predict the results of each week’s fixtures to climb the provincial leader boards. Players could create their own leader boards to compete against friends or play against GAA stars. A responsive web build ensured it was a game fans could play on any device. To celebrate the culmination of the championship, fans where invited to tag themselves on pics of the crowd for a chance to win VIP tickets.

Results

The game quickly became a firm fan favourite with an impressive amount of weekly game plays, with the fan pic also achieving a remarkable amount of tags and shares.
