The Digital Media Awards 2014 were a highly successful night for RMG as we picked up the Grand Prix Award for The Gathering Ireland 2013 as well as winning the Best in Travel and Tourism category for the same project.

This is a very significant win and is major recognition for over 2 years of work on a project which, through the hard work & creativity of local communities, helped to attract over 275,000 additional visitors to the country as well as generating €170 million for the Irish economy.

Our work on the project included the creation of a digital strategy, content marketing, social activation, web design, advertising, search and CRM. We worked closely with PHD Ireland to ensure that the Gathering message connected with Irish people all over the world, so it was fantastic for both of us to be recognised for our work on this unique project.

The Gathering Ireland 2013, jointly submitted by RMG and PHD, scooped the much coveted Grand Prix Accolade last night. Each year this award is presented to the most highly acclaimed project of the year, receiving the highest mark from the judges across all 27 categories.

We also picked up 2 other awards on the night which were Silver for our work on Home Holidays in the Best Travel and Tourism category as well as bronze in the Best Design / Art Direction category for the same project.
